Trucking company fully cooperates after crash resulting in deputy's death

Indiana State Police are investigating the crash that tragically took the life of Delaware County Cpl. Blake Reynolds. According to initial reports, a semi-truck driver, Teddy Malcolm Johnson, allegedly lost control and collided with the deputy's cruiser on I-69. The truck involved is affiliated with Parrish Dedicated Services, a trucking company based in Fort Wayne. Parrish Dedicated Services has over 100 drivers and 68 vehicles, specializing in refrigerated and deep-frozen transportation. Speaking on behalf of the company, one of the owners, Don Parrish, expressed deep sadness over the incident and extended sympathies to Cpl. Reynolds' family, friends, and colleagues. While declining to provide specifics about Johnson's condition, Parrish emphasized their cooperation with the ongoing investigation. Records revealed that Johnson has had previous driving citations, including one for speeding in Pennsylvania. Additionally, Parrish Dedicated Services has received violations for various safety infractions, although their safety rating remains satisfactory.
