Truck with portable toilets crashes on PCH in Malibu after carjacking

A suspect in a carjacking incident involving a truck carrying portable toilets was apprehended on Sunday afternoon after a hit-and-run accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. The theft occurred around 2:50 p.m. near Third Street and Arizona Avenue in Santa Monica. The suspect, who pretended to have a weapon during the theft, fled in a Ford F550 truck with a trailer containing multiple bathrooms. The suspect was last seen heading north on PCH before being involved in a collision near Big Rock Drive, triggering a response from the California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Following a brief pursuit, the suspect was eventually caught as he attempted to flee towards Big Rock Beach. Despite causing some chaos, including a portable toilet falling off the truck, no injuries were reported in the hit-and-run incident.
