Triathlete injured in hit-and-run biking incident in Central FL
Authorities are currently seeking a hit-and-run driver who caused serious injuries to a respected triathlete in Central Florida. Gabrielle Suver sustained multiple fractures and required surgery as the Florida Highway Patrol continues its investigation. Despite her injuries, Suver remains optimistic about her recovery and is determined to return to competing. The incident occurred while Suver was training on her bike, and witnesses saw the aftermath and called for help. She was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment.
