Tragic deaths of 3 Massachusetts teenagers in 2 car accidents overnight
The Bristol County District Attorney reported that tragic accidents led to the loss of a young girl from Dighton and two teenagers from Fall River. The first incident took place on Friday evening at 168 Tremont St. in Taunton, where a Toyota Tacoma veered off the road, crashed into a porch, and caught fire. The teenage driver was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The second crash occurred early Saturday morning on Interstate 195 after reports of a speeding vehicle. Police found a stolen Kia sedan in the median near Reed Road, where two teenagers from Fall River had been ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced dead. Authorities closed westbound lanes for investigation, diverting traffic to Faunce Corner Road, with the highway reopening around 5:20 a.m.
