Tragic death of 5-year-old in Hickory County car accident
A tragic incident in Hickory County, Missouri, involving three vehicles led to the unfortunate passing of a five-year-old child from Preston. As per reports by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision took place on Sept. 26 when a vehicle was rear-ended while trying to make a left turn off US-65 near Preston. The impact caused the vehicle to be pushed into the route of a third vehicle. This marks the 101st fatality crash for 2025 under Troop D’s jurisdiction.
