Tragic crash in Calhoun County results in 2 deaths, 4 injuries
A tragic incident occurred in Manson, Iowa, when a collision between two vehicles resulted in the loss of two lives and injuries to four individuals on September 27th. The Iowa State Patrol reported that a van heading west on Iowa Highway 7 veered across the center line and collided with an eastbound pickup truck. Both vehicles went off the road, with the van flipping into a ditch and the pickup hitting a utility pole before coming to rest in a nearby field. Sadly, 26-year-old Alondra Bravo and 34-year-old Jorge Perez Hechavarria from Storm Lake were among the deceased. Three passengers in the van were not wearing seatbelts and were sitting in patio furniture in the back. Updates on the conditions of the other injured individuals have not been provided.
