Tragic car accident claims student at South Central High

The South Central High School community is mourning the loss of 17-year-old Kimora Robinson, who tragically passed away in a car accident. Robinson, a beloved student at the high school, was involved in a collision while turning onto Forlines Road from the school's parking lot. She sadly lost her life at the scene of the accident, while the other driver sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to ECU Health. Robinson was deeply involved in the school's color guard and dance program throughout her four years there. Principal Chena Cayton fondly remembers her as a bright and joyful student who brought laughter to her classmates, loved jokes, and had a promising future ahead. She had already been accepted to multiple colleges and was eagerly looking forward to her senior year.
