The founder and CEO of LendingTree, Doug Lebda, tragically passed away in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle last weekend, as announced by the online loaning platform on Monday. The company expressed deep sorrow over Lebda's sudden death and offered condolences to his family. Described as a visionary leader, Lebda's innovation and dedication were credited with transforming the financial services industry and impacting millions of consumers. As a result of his passing, Scott Peyree has been appointed as the new CEO, and Steve Ozonian will take over as chairman of the board.
