A 35-year-old woman tragically passed away on Wednesday night following a solo car accident on Third Street, as reported by the Alexandria Police Department. The incident occurred in the 5100 block of Third Street around 8:35 p.m. on November 19. The driver, identified as Keisla Johnson, was heading north in the right lane when her vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Johnson succumbed to her injuries. The authorities have indicated that no other vehicles or individuals were involved, and there is no initial evidence of impairment. Standard toxicology samples were gathered for examination.
