Tragic accident in Dodge County claims life of 18-year-old
An 18-year-old individual lost their life in a single-vehicle accident in Dodge County on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025. The incident, which occurred just before 6:30 p.m., was reported by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office. The crash took place on County Road Q and Pit Road in the Town of Shields, located northwest of Watertown. It was determined that a 2006 Acura sedan was traveling northbound on County Road Q when it veered off the road, crashing into several trees before coming to a stop approximately 50 yards away in a densely wooded area. Tragically, the 18-year-old driver from Watertown was declared deceased at the crash site. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed as the investigation is ongoing by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
