Tragic Accident Halts Traffic on I-69 in Delaware County
A tragic accident on Interstate 69 southbound near Yorktown last Friday morning led to a temporary closure of the highway from exit 241 to exit 234. The left lane of I-69 northbound was also affected due to the incident. Regrettably, one person lost their life in the crash according to the Yorktown Fire Department. Further details about the cause of the accident and potential injuries are still pending release. The Delaware County Sheriff's Office confirmed that all lanes were reopened around 7:21 a.m.
