Tragic accident claims life of 2-year-old in Lake Worth

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is looking into a tragic incident in Lake Worth, where a 2-year-old boy lost his life after he unexpectedly ran into the path of a Dodge Ram truck on the 900 block of South A Street. Local station WPBF 25 News has been providing updates on this heartbreaking event. Following the accident, the child was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Reports from the scene state that on Tuesday at approximately 7:30 p.m., the truck was heading south on South A Street and approaching the intersection with 10 Avenue South. The truck then turned left onto 10 Avenue South from southbound South A Street. The child, moving across 10 Avenue South from the south to the north, dashed into the roadway suddenly from in front of a parked vehicle on the south side. The collision happened as the truck was passing the stationary vehicle.
