The incident occurred when the girl's Chevrolet Cruze was hit by a Dodge Charger driven by an 18-year-old while she was making a turn from Grove Meadows Boulevard onto Oak Grove Road. The Charger overturned off the road during the collision, and the girl was thrown from her vehicle and tragically died at the scene.
