Tragic accident: 12-year-old girl dies in collision with Las Vegas school bus
A 12-year-old girl who was involved in a collision with a school bus in the northwest Las Vegas valley has tragically passed away, as reported by local police. The incident occurred on West Tropical Parkway, near West Ann Road and North Jones Boulevard. According to authorities, the girl was riding her bike in the bicycle lane when she collided with the school bus and then hit an SUV before falling to the ground. The girl succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday. Fortunately, none of the 55 students or the 75-year-old bus driver on the bus were harmed, and impairment was not suspected. The Clark County School District expressed deep sorrow over the event and assures support is being provided to the Lied STEM Academy community.
