Traffic delays near Fort Eustis Blvd due to tractor-trailer crash.
A vehicle collision is causing traffic delays on Interstate 64 in Newport News this Tuesday morning. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reported that there were temporary closures of the east left shoulder and lane due to the crash. Additionally, on the westbound side near Fort Eustis Boulevard, several lanes including the left shoulder, left lane, and center lane remain closed due to an accident involving a tractor-trailer. Traffic congestion is causing backups up to 4 miles in the westbound lanes. A traffic camera at the scene shows heavy traffic and a stranded vehicle in the median between the east and westbound lanes.
