Tractor crash in Kimball Township leaves 1 dead, 6 hospitalized
A tragic accident occurred in Kimball Township Saturday night, resulting in a fatality and hospitalizations for six individuals. The incident involved a Buick colliding with a tractor on Smiths Creek Road. The tractor, driven by a 79-year-old man and carrying five passengers, was struck from behind by the Buick Regal. Unfortunately, an 85-year-old woman from Kimball Township lost her life at the scene. The driver of the tractor is in critical condition, while the other passengers were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating the crash.
