Tony Stewart can't recall many details of frightening NHRA accident
Former NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, 54, continues his racing career in the NHRA Top Fuel circuit. Recently, he secured the 2025 NHRA Top Fuel regular season title while filling in for his wife, Leah Pruett, who just had their first child, Dominic. Stewart competed at Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania where his car collided with fellow racer Doug Kalitta's after crossing the center line. Thankfully, both drivers emerged from the wreckage unharmed, with Stewart expressing a lack of memory of the crash but assuring everyone that they are doing well. The NHRA released a statement confirming the safety of both drivers following the incident at the raceway.
