Three teenagers injured in stolen vehicle accident

Three teenagers were sent to the hospital following an accident involving a stolen vehicle on the late evening of Friday. The Minneapolis police responded to a single car crash at the intersection of 60th Street East and Bloomington Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. The stolen car, heading west on 60th Street East, collided with a light pole. Emergency personnel had to extract the driver, a 17-year-old female, from the vehicle before taking her and two other passengers, a 17-year-old female and a 16-year-old male, to a nearby hospital. The severity of their injuries is currently unknown. The Minneapolis police department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
