Three people injured in helicopter accident in Hays County
A helicopter crash occurred near Round Mountain in Hays County on Sunday night, according to authorities. Texas DPS reported that on August 31, at approximately 9:30 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a helicopter incident near Fearless Treadway. Three individuals were aboard during the crash and were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. The helicopter involved was confirmed by the Federal Aviation Administration to be a Sikorsky S-76. An investigation into the crash is currently being conducted by the FAA.
