
Three people hurt in off-road vehicle crash in Berne
In Berne, New York, three young individuals were hurt in a UTV accident on County Route 6. The Albany County Sheriff's Office shared that one of them was airlifted to Albany Medical Center. Deputies responded to a residence on County Route 6 after receiving a report of a UTV crash involving four people. Upon arrival, they discovered the victims and a Polaris Ranger on its side off a dirt trail. Three juveniles suffered significant but not life-threatening injuries in the accident. While one was airlifted, the other two were taken by Helderberg ambulance for medical care. Two of the victims had broken thighbones. Authorities noted that at least two of the victims were teenagers aged 14 and 15. The efforts of the Helderberg Ambulance and the East Berne Fire Department supported the Albany County Sheriff's Office during this incident.
