
Three people hurt in multiple-car collision on I-670 in Wyandotte County
Over the weekend in Wyandotte County, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 670 eastbound which resulted in injuries to three individuals. The crash took place around 5:40 p.m. near Genessee Street. The accident involved a Kia K5, Toyota 4Runner, and Ford Expedition that were stationary in the center lane when a Mercedes-Benz S Class collided with the Kia, causing a chain reaction. The Mercedes-Benz driver, a 72-year-old man, was unharmed, but his 69-year-old female passenger suffered minor injuries. The Kia driver, a 38-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries, while her passenger, a 36-year-old woman, had minor injuries. The occupants of the Toyota and Ford did not report any injuries.
