A 29-year-old man has been arrested following a tragic crash in southwest Houston over the weekend that resulted in the deaths of three individuals, as reported by Houston Police. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday along the 12300 block of Almeda Road when a Chrysler 300 failed to stop at a traffic light and collided with a Buick Enclave, which then hit three other vehicles. Three occupants of the Buick, identified as a 23-year-old man, a 24-year-old man, and a 21-year-old woman, lost their lives. The driver of the Chrysler, identified as Tony Jerome Oliver, has been charged with multiple counts of intoxication manslaughter, according to authorities. Oliver, who was found to be impaired, is currently hospitalized in critical condition. The mother of one of the victims, Ronald Cedric Harris III, expressed her devastation and recounted details of the tragic event. Family and friends are raising funds for Harris' funeral arrangements.
