Three injured, one critically, in serious two-car accident in Chesapeake
Three individuals were injured, one critically, in a severe two-vehicle crash on Sunday evening in Chesapeake near the east end of the Gilmerton Bridge. The collision occurred around 8 p.m. when a car heading east on South Military Highway veered across the center line and hit a westbound vehicle. The injured parties were transported to a nearby hospital, with two in stable condition and one in critical condition. The Gilmerton Bridge was briefly shut down in both directions but has reopened. Authorities are currently looking into the cause of the accident.
