Teenager dies in car accident while on the way to swim practice in Ozaukee County
A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon as a 16-year-old boy from Fox Point, identified as Grant Freeze by his family and swim coach, was involved in a fatal car crash while on his way to Cedarburg High School for swim practice. Freeze's vehicle collided with an eastbound dump truck driven by a 57-year-old man, resulting in Freeze being extracted from his car and airlifted to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. The older driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Freeze was a dedicated swimmer who had recently achieved state records in his age group, and was a valued member of the Ozaukee swimming community.
