Teen in Newport Beach dies after solo e-motorcycle crash
According to City News Service, a teenage resident of Newport Beach who was involved in an e-motorcycle accident near Superior Avenue and Nice Lane last week has tragically passed away due to severe injuries sustained in the crash. The teenager has been identified as Jagger Boys, 16 years old. The Newport Beach Police Department is currently looking into the incident and has released a statement about the situation but has not provided any further details. The fatal crash took place near Sunset Ridge Park, close to Balboa Peninsula and just a short distance from Hoag Hospital. The police responded to a call received on September 23 about a young individual on an e-motorcycle who was involved in a solo traffic collision. Despite the efforts of officers and Newport Beach Fire Department medics, Boys did not survive his injuries and passed away on Friday. The cause of the accident is still being investigated, and anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact NBPD traffic investigator Austin Laverty.
