Teen driver dies in tragic Pitt County collision
In Pitt County, North Carolina, on October 7th, 2025, a tragic collision occurred on Forlines Rd. between two vehicles. Kimora Ashanti Robinson, a 17-year-old from Winterville, NC, was fatally injured while trying to make a left turn onto Forlines Rd. from the South-Central High School parking lot. The collision involved a vehicle traveling west on Forlines Rd. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to ECU Health with severe injuries that are not life-threatening. Law enforcement does not anticipate any charges in connection with the incident.
