SUV overturns in Urbandale two-vehicle collision
In Urbandale, Iowa, an incident occurred where a car tipped onto its side after making an improper turn at an intersection, as reported by Urbandale Police Department Sgt. Joe Fisher. The accident involving two vehicles happened around 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of 86th Street and Plum Drive in Urbandale. A SUV in the left lane turned right across traffic lanes and was hit by another SUV that was moving straight, causing the turning SUV to flip onto its side. Emergency responders from Urbandale Fire Department had to assist the driver out of the overturned vehicle, and the driver was subsequently taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
