Suspected DUI involved in fatal San Jose collision
A tragic incident occurred on October 8 near the Monterey Road and Rancho Drive intersection in San Jose, resulting in the loss of one life and causing serious injuries to two other individuals due to a suspected DUI crash. The collision involved a silver 2007 Ford sedan and a blue 2013 BMW coupe. The impact led to significant injuries for the drivers of both vehicles and a passenger in the BMW, who sadly did not survive the crash. Investigators believe that the driver of the Ford was under the influence of alcohol during the incident. The San Jose Police Department is working on a case to be presented to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office for legal action. As of now, authorities have not disclosed the identity of the victim. This marks the 28th traffic-related fatality in San Jose this year.
