Southbound lanes on I-57 closed Sunday after deadly car-pedestrian crash by ISP
In the early hours of Sunday morning, the southbound lanes of I-57 near West 111th Street in Chicago's South Side were closed due to a car striking and killing a pedestrian. Illinois State Police were called to the scene at milepost 355 around 4:45 a.m., responding to the fatal incident involving a car and a pedestrian.
