Smoke shop in Greater Cincinnati destroyed in fire caused by intoxicated driver.

A smoke shop in Greater Cincinnati suffered extensive damage in a fire early Sunday morning, as reported by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred when a driver under the influence crashed into a utility pole near High On The Hill along State Route 32, causing an electrical fire at the shop. Firefighters from five different companies, including Anderson Fire, responded to the scene to extinguish the flames, with Anderson Fire crews remaining on-site to prevent any potential reignition. Unfortunately, the building has been deemed a total loss. The sheriff's office did not mention any injuries resulting from the fire or if the driver is facing charges. Although High On The Hill has not addressed the incident on social media, their Google listing currently shows as "Temporarily Closed." The smoke shop, which first opened in 1978 as per their Facebook page, has not provided further details following the fire.
