Serious injuries for woman in Wawarsing collision
New York State Police are investigating a serious two-vehicle collision that occurred in Wawarsing, N.Y., resulting in an Ellenville woman being critically injured. The crash, which took place on Route 209 Sunday morning, involved a 2008 Honda and a 2022 Subaru traveling southbound. The woman driving the Honda sustained severe injuries and was subsequently airlifted to Westchester Medical Center after receiving emergency care at the scene. State Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash near Barthel’s Farm Market and Creamery to come forward with information by contacting the New York State Police in Middletown at (845) 344-5300.
