In Kansas City, Missouri, a tragic car crash on The Paseo has resulted in the death of two individuals and critical injuries to two others. The incident occurred two weeks ago when a gray Chevrolet Malibu driver lost control and collided with a tree. Despite efforts to save the driver's life, he passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital. One of the passengers also succumbed to their injuries two hours after being admitted. The Kansas City Police Department reported that two others are still recovering from critical and serious injuries. The total number of fatalities in the city has now reached 56 this year, compared to 80 at this time last year. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed by the authorities.
