Search ongoing for suspect in fatal collision and abduction in SoCal
Authorities in San Bernardino County are currently seeking a suspect in relation to a tragic incident that took place in the early hours of October 7th near a school in the Montclair area. Reports indicate that a confrontation between three individuals in a vehicle and an unidentified suspect in another vehicle escalated into a dangerous chase, with the suspect firing shots at the victims' vehicle. The pursuit culminated in a crash near North Benson Avenue and San Bernardino Road where one victim was fatally injured, and another, a woman, was briefly kidnapped before managing to escape in Ontario. A third occupant was found unresponsive at the scene and later succumbed to injuries in a hospital. The authorities have highlighted that this was not a random event and all parties involved are known to each other. The suspect remains at large, and anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the Montclair Police Department.
