School Bus and Car Collide in Greene County Without Injuries
Fortunately, no injuries were reported after a Greene County school bus and car crashed on Gass Memorial Road close to the Kingsport Highway intersection around 4 p.m. on Thursday. The incident involved a 2010 Subaru driven by 19-year-old Jose' Sanchez and a school bus driven by Kristine Quillen as they collided while navigating a curve. Though nine children were on board, they were transferred to another bus to safely continue their journey home. Following the accident, the bus was taken back to the county bus garage, while the car was towed away from the scene.
