San Jose police report: One person dead, one child injured in motorcycle-vehicle crash
San Jose police reported that a motorcyclist died following a collision with a vehicle on a Thursday night, which also resulted in a juvenile being hospitalized. The incident occurred at 8:05 p.m. near Branham Lane and Jarvis Avenue. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead later at a nearby hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and a juvenile from the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Police mentioned that both directions of Branham Lane from Robb Drive to Jarvis Avenue will be closed for "several hours" as detectives conduct an investigation. Updates on this story will follow.
