Sacramento police probe fatal accident in Brentwood neighborhood
A fatal accident occurred in the Brentwood neighborhood on Sunday morning, according to Sacramento police. The incident, which took place around 8 a.m. near the intersection of 24th Street and 47th Avenue, involved a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries. The driver involved in the accident cooperated with authorities and neither drugs nor alcohol were believed to have played a role. The police are currently investigating the crash.
