
Rudy Giuliani sustains vertebrae injury in car crash, according to security chief
Rudy Giuliani, the former New York Mayor, was involved in a car accident on Saturday night, resulting in several injuries, including a fractured vertebrae. Michael Ragusa, identified as Giuliani’s security head, stated that the accident occurred when his vehicle was struck from behind at high speed on a highway. Following the incident, Giuliani was taken to a nearby trauma center, where doctors diagnosed him with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Ragusa mentioned that Giuliani is in good spirits, fully alert, and conscious, with doctors pleased with his recovery progress. Ragusa also clarified that the accident was not a targeted attack. Giuliani's son, Andrew, expressed his gratitude for the support received since the news broke.
