Route 66 section shut after severe car crash
Middlefield, Connecticut (WTNH) - Route 66 in Middlefield is currently shut down following a significant car accident as reported by the local fire department. The collision took place around 12:30 a.m. near the reservoirs on Meriden Road. The Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department has announced the closure of this section in both directions between Baileyville and Hill Roads for an extended duration.
