
Rescuers save man and woman in Mille Lacs County accident
A 53-year-old woman tragically lost her life in a vehicle accident in Mudgett Township, Minnesota, while a 24-year-old man was rescued by three good Samaritans, as reported by the Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred at the intersection of 280th Street and 100th Avenue early Thursday morning. A Toyota Camry and Lincoln Navigator were involved, with the driver of the Camry, Rachael Marie Morey of Rush City, passing away at the scene. Samaritans aided in the rescue of Timothy Boros of Little Falls from the burning Navigator before it was engulfed in flames. Boros was promptly taken to the hospital. The individuals who courageously assisted in the rescue utilized tools and fire extinguishers from their vehicles in their effort to save lives. The Sheriff's Office emphasized that the actions of these men were crucial in preventing more severe harm. The investigation is ongoing in collaboration with the Minnesota State Patrol.
