Reports: Person thrown from car in Sterling rollover
A rollover accident occurred in Sterling where a person was reportedly thrown from their vehicle. The Sterling Fire Department, Rock Falls Fire Department, and CGH EMS responded to the incident at Lincolnway and Mound Hill Rd around 3:09 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, authorities found a vehicle flipped on its roof with a male patient ejected. Lee County Sheriff Department and Illinois State Police were also present at the scene. The patient received CPR from LCSD before being handed over to CGH EMS and Sterling Fire Department for further care. He was subsequently taken to CGH for treatment.
