Reopening of Northbound 5 Freeway in Glendale following fatal crash probe
After a fatal crash investigation caused the closure of all lanes, the northbound 5 Freeway in Glendale has now been reopened. California Highway Patrol reported that a car breakdown led to a collision with a white BMW, resulting in the death of one person due to the intense impact that caused a fire and trapped the driver. The lanes were cleared for traffic shortly after 7:30 a.m., as confirmed by the CHP.
