Pownal rollover crash leads to citation for Bennington woman
A woman from Bennington, Vermont, has been cited for allegedly giving alcohol to minors, leading to a severe accident in Pownal in June. Vermont State Police accused Alexis Pecor, 27, of providing alcohol to minors that resulted in serious injuries. In the incident on June 3 at 7:45 p.m., law enforcement responded to a rollover crash with multiple life-threatening injuries involving a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder veering off the road and rolling over. The driver, an 18-year-old, and two passengers were severely injured and airlifted to Albany Medical Center. Investigations revealed that the occupants were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, which was allegedly provided by Pecor. Pecor is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division, on November 24 at 8:15 a.m., as per the police report.
