Police say teen driver dies in Orange County crash after pursuit
A tragic incident occurred in Orange County over the weekend when a teenager lost his life in a car crash during a police chase. According to the Virginia State Police, the Town of Orange Police Department was in pursuit of a 2014 Nissan Altima on Constitution Highway around 2 a.m. Sunday. The Altima veered off the road, striking a ditch, mailbox, and two trees before becoming airborne and hitting a second mailbox. The 17-year-old driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, passed away at the scene.
