A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being hit by a car on Thursday at a busy intersection in East Boston. The incident occurred at around 2 p.m. near the junction of Meridian Street and Saratoga Street. The injured adult was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, as reported by the Boston police.
