Police in Sand Springs investigate deadly accident by Case Community Center
The Sand Springs police department quickly responded to a car rollover incident that occurred at 1:20 p.m. on August 19. The vehicle flipped over and came to rest in a grassy area between 412 and Wekiwa Road. Authorities reported that both occupants were thrown from the car, resulting in the death of one female at the scene. An investigation into the crash is underway. While eastbound 412 and Wekiwa Road were temporarily closed after the accident, they have since been reopened to traffic.
