
Police in Detroit seek driver after fatal three-car accident
Police in Detroit are currently trying to locate a driver who allegedly ran a red light, leading to a collision involving three vehicles that resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to three others. The incident occurred Saturday evening in the vicinity of Chalmers and Seymour streets on the city's east side. Upon arrival, authorities found a passenger deceased at the scene. The driver of the identified vehicle that caused the crash reportedly left the scene on foot. It is suspected that the driver was speeding and disregarded a red light, causing the collision with two other vehicles, one of which carried the deceased victim. Three additional adults sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The Detroit Police Department's Fatal Squad is actively investigating the case and seeking to identify the driver who fled the scene.
