Police in County Investigate Accident with Injuries on Michigan Road
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department quickly responded to a collision involving two vehicles with injuries that occurred on Michigan Road just before 4 p.m. A 911 call was received by Marshall County Central Dispatch Center at 3:53 p.m. reporting the accident on Michigan Road. Officer Haygood from the Sheriff’s Department arrived at the scene and found that a 2008 Lincoln Navigator driven by Cloey McMichael, 18, had slowed down for a vehicle turning into a driveway when a 2010 Nissan Versa driven by Deanna Sheppard-Campbell, 52, failed to slow down and rear-ended the Navigator. Sheppard-Campbell was taken to Plymouth Hospital for minor injuries while McMichael's juvenile passenger was evaluated by EMS on-site and later released. Assistance at the scene was provided by Plymouth Fire and EMS, Argos EMS, and Lyon's Wrecker Service.
