(WPRI) — A Westerly police car and a pickup truck sustained damage in a collision on Friday morning. Police Chief Paul Gingerella reported that the incident occurred at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bradford Road and Dunns Corner Road. The truck driver ran the stop sign and collided with the police car, causing minor injuries, as per Gingerella. The driver will be issued a traffic citation in connection with the incident.
