Police at Hampton are investigating a fatal e-scooter crash.
The Hampton Police Department is currently investigating a possible accident involving an e-scooter. They were contacted after a person was found on the ground at Ashworth Avenue and G Street, unconscious and not breathing. Tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. As of 7 a.m. Saturday, the victim's identity had not been publicly disclosed to allow family notification. Authorities are urging residents in the vicinity of the incident to review their home security footage for any relevant information.
