Pilot Lee Truitt: Lost in Louisville UPS Plane Crash

First Officer Lee Truitt, who tragically lost his life in the UPS Flight 2976 accident in Louisville, Kentucky on November 4, was a skilled pilot with extensive experience. Truitt was a registered pilot with certifications to operate both single engine commercial planes and multiengine transport planes. FAA records show his qualifications as an airline transport pilot and flight instructor. Truitt joined UPS in 2021 after nearly two decades in the aviation industry, having graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2006. The NTSB is currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
